Flowers poke up through the cold, hard dirt and begin to bloom. Pots are examined and new ones are purchased, their beauty to showcase life. Old pots need more care than new ones do, dead plants need to be removed and their surfaces washed to reveal colorful glazes.
All containers are beautiful, in their own way. Sometimes cracked, faded wood provides the most interesting canvas for plants.
There is an overlook coming into Boulder, and I recommend that you take the time to stop, even on the bitter Colorado mornings. The view is breathtaking. And once you get into Boulder, the mountains get even better. The fog that tends to cover the peaks of the majestic Rockies in the mornings (especially in the spring and winter) create this mysterious and almost eerie feeling. And even though they aren't clear, they are still stunning.
